BRIAN S. ATWOOD VOICE-OVERS FEATURED ON TWO EPISODES OF “AMERICAN HEROES CHANNEL” WAR STORIES PROGRAM AGAINST THE ODDS BEGINNING THIS MONTH

Atwood Report “Live and On-the-Scene” From Battlefields in Both Iraq and Vietnam

The Lehigh Valley’s own “Voice-Over Guy”, Brian Atwood of Brian S. Atwood Voice-Overs, will once again be heard on a major international cable television channel this month, having previously been showcased on the History Channel, H2, truTV, and HLN, among others.

Atwood will be featured on the American Heroes Channel (AHC) – formerly the Military Channel – in the AHC series Against The Odds.  Narrated by actor Blair Underwood, Against The Odds relives battles from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq, with true stories of the harsh realities of war, as told by the veterans who survived them.  Atwood – whose recent voice-over work includes projects for Nissan and the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics, as well as recreating the voice of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan for the History Channel’s Hangar 1: The UFO Files – will portray the voices of several on-the-scene TV network journalists as they report “live” from the battlefield.

The first of Atwood’s two episodes, “The Magnificent Bastards of Dai Do”,  depicts the noble warriors of Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines in Dai Do, Vietnam in 1968 as they face down an overwhelming North Vietnamese Army and rescue their fellow Marines.  It can be viewed on Sunday, March 27 at 2pm ET.  The second episode, “46 Days of Hell in Fallujah”, depicts Charlie Company of the 1st Cavalry Division in Fallujah, Iraq in 2004 as they wander into a blistering attack; leaving supplies low, casualties mounting and the enemy circle tightening.  Its network premiere can be viewed on Monday, March 21 at 8pm ET.  Both episodes, part of the second season of Against The Odds, will be in regular rotation on AHC and can be viewed via On-Demand services and on Amazon as well.

Since 2008, Brian S. Atwood Voice-Overs – which provides spoken audio for radio, television, Internet, and other audio/video projects – has specialized in commercials, narration, character voices, and jingles.  Mr. Atwood has been proud to represent such international clients as the Smithsonian Institution, U.S. Federal Government, GE, Walmart, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, HP, DISH Network, Yellowstone and Minuteman National Parks, Cisco Systems, and Jim Beam Inc.  Other national clients include Lutron Electronics, Sands Bethlehem Event Center, Crayola, Just Born Candies, Olympus, Air Products, St. Luke’s Hospital, Josh Early Candies, and DeSales and Kutztown Universities.

Mr. Atwood began his broadcasting career in 2000, as a multi-format music programmer and on-air talent for Sirius Satellite Radio in New York City.  In addition to his eight years at Sirius, he also worked in managerial positions at The Philadelphia Orchestra, New York Philharmonic and New York’s WQXR-FM.  Mr. Atwood received his initial voice-over training in New York City with Bruce Kronenberg of Marla Kirban Voiceovers and voice actor Emma Lewis.
