Atwood Shows “Executive Talent” Mimicking Former U.S. President Ronald Reagan
The Lehigh Valley’s own “Voice-Over Guy”, Brian Atwood of Brian S. Atwood Voice-Overs, is scheduled to be heard on cable television’s H2 network – otherwise known as History (Channel) 2 – this Friday, April 4 at 10 pm ET. He will be featured in the new H2 series Hangar 1: The UFO Files, which examines declassified archived files to look for connections, clues and evidence of UFOs. Atwood, whose recent voice-over work includes several national TV commercials for the U.S. Federal Government (SAMHSA) about the dangers of teen substance abuse and an award-winning advertising campaign for New Jersey-based Hunterdon Medical Center, will be heard reading from the diary of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan, while an on-camera actor will portray the President writing the diary entry itself. Atwood’s convincing impersonation of Reagan is just one of over 200 such character voices in his current repertoire.
Since 2008, Brian S. Atwood Voice-Overs – which provides spoken audio for radio, television, Internet, and other audio/video projects – has specialized in commercials, narration, character voices, and jingles. Mr. Atwood began his broadcasting career in 2000, as a multi-format music programmer and on-air talent for Sirius Satellite Radio in New York City. In addition to his eight years at Sirius, he also worked in managerial positions at The Philadelphia Orchestra, New York Philharmonic and New York’s WQXR-FM. Mr. Atwood received his initial voice-over training in New York City with Bruce Kronenberg of Marla Kirban Voiceovers and voice actor Emma Lewis.
